WL Solutions' SCADA systems have been supplied using primarily SCADAPack equipment from Control Microsystems and Lookout HMI from National Instruments. These SCADA systems have varied from small (50 I/O) to large (400+ I/O) systems and are being used to monitor and control water/wastewater systems as well as to monitor Automation and Process Control Systems in industrial applications.
These are a few examples of water systems we have designed and supplied.
Cherry Creek Waterworks
- Port Alberni, BC
This system's primary
function is to supervise and monitor chlorine disinfectant controls and maintain
a consistent chlorine residual level. The system also monitors and logs
temperatures, pressures and levels, reporting any system parameters that fall
outside preset limits.
This system utilizes two networked ISACC controllers from Phonetics, inc.
Tseshaht Indian Reserve - Port Alberni, BC
This control system monitors water levels in Two reservoirs, controls pumps to maintain these levels logs control points and generates reports. It also provides for adjustments to control setpoints.
This system uses SCADAPack and Lookout HMI.
Breakwater enterprises - Parksville, BC
This system monitors and controls the flow into and balances flow out of two separate reservoirs by controlling a series of Well and Booster Pumps. It also controls chlorine injection pumps to disinfect and maintain constant chlorine residual levels in the reservoirs. This system uses modem communications to exchange data between the reservoirs and supervising stations.
This system uses two SCADAPack controllers and Lookout HMI.
